My Photo Phone is primarily an application for handling incoming calls and dialing numbers. To perform basic functions such as sending and receiving calls, it needs to be selected as the default dialer application. The call-related features will only work if the app is the default dialer.

Note: My Photo Phone can still be used without default dialer permission, but call-related features will be disabled if it's not set as the default dialer.
